We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Ogyre, a B Corp dedicated to protecting the oceans and combating marine pollution through the “Fishing for Litter” project. Together, we commit to removing 3,000 kg of litter – equivalent to 300,000 plastic bottles (0.5 L each) – from the oceans over the next three years, thus helping create a more sustainable future for everyone.

This initiative engages fishing communities in Italy, Indonesia and Brazil.

We are particularly enthusiastic about this initiative for two key reasons:
1. A connection to our region and history: Ogyre was founded near Genoa, the same place where Soteco has its roots. Supporting a local initiative that has achieved global reach fills us with pride and strengthens our ties to the community.
2. Global impact with local significance: This collaboration will not only contribute to cleaning the seas but also provide direct support to fishing communities in three geographical regions—Europe, Asia, and the Americas—where Soteco International has had a presence and strong business ties for many years.
